The San Nicolò sailing boat is the symbol of navigation on Lake Garda, a piece of history that gives you the opportunity to admire Lake Garda from an exceptional and unique perspective.
Launched in Bardolino on 8 December 1925, it was called "San Nicolò" in homage to the patron of the town. The ship was originally used for economic and manufacturing purposes and it transported goods, wood, stones for the constructions of ports and poles used to tie up grape vines. Completely made of wood, it is the oldest and last ketch (sailing vessel with two masts) that still runs on the lake. Past and present merge in a historical scenery with all the amenities of a modern ship such as music, bar and toilet.
Starting from the Bardolino harbour you can enjoy all the magic of an aperitif at sunset on board the Sunset Cruise, or leave for a panoramic tour of the most picturesque places of the lake on board the classical San Nicolò Cruise: Sirmione, Garda, Torri, Punta San Vigilio, Isola del Garda and the Grottoes of Catullus, just to name a few. The sailing ship San Nicolò is also available for business events and private excursions, perfect for birthday parties and special occasions.
