The picturesque town of Padenghe sul Garda is located on the western shore of Lake Garda, halfway between Desenzano and Manerba del Garda.
It is known for its medieval castle.
Other important sites are the parochial house of Sant’Emiliano of the same epoch, the parish church from the 17th Century and Palazzo Barbieri, seat of the town hall, from the 18th century.
Padenghe sul Garda belongs to the Valtenesi territory in which the famous wine d.o.c. (controlled designation of origin) of the province of Brescia, the “Garda Classico”, is produced.
